Cookie Notice
Effective Date: 15th July 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Notice ("Notice") explains how PHANA AB and its affiliates ("Phana," "us," "we," or "our") use cookies, pixels, tags, session replay tools, and other tracking technologies (collectively, "Tracking Technologies") on our website. For purposes of this Notice, "Site" refers to www.phana.ai and any other website we operate that links to this Notice. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.
Scope: This Notice does not cover in-product cookies used within the Phana Velocity platform itself when accessed by our customers and their authorized users. It applies only to your visit to our marketing Site.
2. What Are Tracking Technologies?
Web cookies: Small text files placed on your device by a web server, which can later be read by the domain that set them. Some are used only when you engage certain features; others are always active. See Section 3 for details.
Pixels, web beacons, and tags: Small pieces of code or invisible graphics embedded in web pages or emails that carry a unique identifier, used to gather analytics and support marketing measurement.
Session replay tools: Where permitted by applicable law, these tools record how you navigate and interact with our Site (e.g., page visits, form interactions) so we can identify usability issues and improve the Site experience.
3. How Does Phana Use Tracking Technologies?
We use Tracking Technologies to keep our Site functioning properly, remember your preferences (including your cookie choices), understand how visitors use our Site, and, where applicable, support limited marketing measurement. We do not share personal data collected through analytics cookies with third parties for advertising purposes.
Session Usage: First-party cookies maintain your session as you move between pages of our Site and help us understand navigation patterns.
Site Performance & Effectiveness: We use analytics tools to measure Site traffic, understand which pages are most useful, and evaluate the effectiveness of our content and campaigns. We may use third-party analytics vendors for this purpose, who may provide us with aggregated or individual-level reporting.
Security: We use certain Tracking Technologies to help protect the security and integrity of our Site and detect or prevent fraudulent, malicious, or unauthorized activity.
Categories of cookies we may use:
- Essential Cookies — Required for the Site to function (e.g., load balancing, security). These cannot be disabled through our cookie settings, though you may block them at the browser level, which may affect Site functionality.
- Functional Cookies — Support enhanced features and personalization, set by us or by third-party providers integrated into our Site.
- Analytics Cookies — Help us understand visitor traffic and behavior so we can improve Site performance and content.
- Targeting/Advertising Cookies — We do not currently use third-party targeting or advertising cookies on our Site. If this changes, this Notice will be updated accordingly.
4. Your Choices
Cookie Settings: You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in our Site footer or through our cookie banner.
Browser-Level Controls: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings:
- Firefox — Private Browsing / cookie settings
- Chrome — Incognito mode / cookie settings
- Safari — Private Browsing / cookie settings
- Edge — InPrivate / cookie settings
Note that browser-level opt-outs apply per browser and per device — if you use multiple devices or browsers, you will need to repeat the process on each.
We do not currently use interest-based/third-party advertising cookies, so external ad-network opt-out mechanisms are not presently applicable to our Site. If this changes, we will update this section with the relevant opt-out resources.
5. Supplemental Information for the EEA, Switzerland, and the U.K.
This Section 5 governs in the event of any conflict with the rest of this Notice, with respect to personal data of individuals in the EEA, Switzerland, and the U.K.
As a Sweden-based company, we apply an opt-in consent model: until you provide consent via our cookie banner, only Essential Cookies are enabled. Functional and Analytics cookies are activated only after you give affirmative consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, with future effect, via the "Cookie Settings" link in our Site footer.
6. Notice Updates
We may update this Notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" above. The updated Notice applies to data collected or processed from that date forward. We encourage you to check back periodically.
7. English-Version Controls
Non-English translations of this Notice are provided for convenience only. The English version controls in the event of any conflict.
